Anne Frank The Diary of a Young Girl

On the 11 of June 1942 Anne asked (in our Bookshop on the Rooseveltlaan) her father to give her the little booklet she pointed out  as a present for her birthday. On the next day (her birthday) the 12th of June she started writing.

In July 1942, thirteen-year-old Anne Frank and her family, fleeing the horrors of Nazi occupation, went into hiding in the Amsterdam warehouse of her fathers compagny "Opekta" on the Prinsengracht.

Over the next two years Anne describes not only the daily frustrations of living in such close quarters, but also her thoughts, feelings and longings as she grows up. 

This title presents her diary.
